With all the changes I made in our home, I did not get to spend time on crafting. But I do want to show you this bookmark that I made as a birthdaypresent. The stamp is from Tina Wenke.

Winner SS 182

Wow, this was a great surprise on this saturday, I won the challenge on Sketch Saturday with my card. This is the first time I have won a challenge.

A big thank you to the team of Sketch Saturday but also to the sponsor of the challenge Bunny Zoe's Crafts

SS 182

The layout from Sketch Saturday #182 immediately appealed to me. Combine this with the Penny Black Saturday challenge green + trees and you get this result.

LOTV #121

For the Lili of the valley challenge - A christmas card for someone special I made this card. The stamp is of course from Lili of the Valley.

Christmas stitching

Since I am still short of christmas cards I had to start making cards again. The easy way is just stitch a card in front of the TV, so guess what, it's a stitched card :-)
The pattern is from Ann's PaperArt and the stamp is from Penny Black.

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:
- Creaine scrap en borduurblog - Novemberchallenge
- Fadengrafik challenge blog - Fadengrafik meets Stempelmotiv
- Winter Wonderland Challenge - Awwwwwwwwwwwwww What a Cutie

Favourite designer

Here a stitched card with a pattern from Ann's PaperArt that I made for the challenge on the Fadengrafik-Challenge blog. I love here diversity in designs and it's always a pleasure to stitch one of them.

Stampinback day

Last week was the stampinback day where I attended 4 stamping workshops. Here are the four cards made during these workshops. All stamps are of course from Stampinback

The first card was coloured with distress ink

In the second workshop we learned how to make a reflection in the water by just using a mica sheet

The third workshop we made a sliding-card

And in the last one we used snow to brighten up the sheep. A fantastic day that resulted in 4 nice cards and some techniques I will certainly try again at home.

Scrapkit #3

With the same kit from last Saturday I made a third card. Again with a Lili of the Valley stamp, but this time completely different colours.

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:
- Paper Sundaes Challenge #89 - Lots of Layers
- LOTV World Cardmaking Day

Card making day

Last Saturday I had a meeting with the yahoo craft group and we had lots of fun. BesideOf course there was a lot of chitchat but besides that I alsomanaged to make 2 cards with the fabulous scrapkit we got.

Two very simple cards that can be used for men! The first one with a stamp from Penny Black, the second one with a stamp from Lili of the Valley

Some scrapcards

Lately I have been too busy with work and making changes at home, that I did not have time for crafting. But I can show you some cards I made some time ago since they have reached their destination.

For a yahoo-group I made these 2 cards. The sketches I received from other members and I had to make a card with them and send them back.

July contest

This card I made with for the contest on a forum. The patterns are from Ann's PaperArt.

Fold card

On the splitcoaststampers website I saw a lovely tutorial for a fold card. This is my result. The stamp is from Rob Meijer - Stampinback.

For a wedding I made a packing for a wine bottle. The instruction came from the scorpal site, I just adjusted the measurements a bit. The stamp is from Stampinback.

The pearls where just to make it more special and suitable for a wedding.

A fun detail is that this part comes from the candle that where the present for all people that joined us at our wedding.

Last week I had to make something to pack a dinner giftcertificate. This is what came out. The stuffed animal is for the small child, the giftcertificate for the adults.

For a colleague who is retiring I made a scrapbook with pictures from the jobside and from our bbq events etc. Two pages are just made generique, so these I can show you.

The text stamp is from Stampingback, the tree from Lost Coast Design.

The stitching pattern is from Ann's Paperart, the stamps from Motivet and Daisy & Dandelion.

A bird

This card is for the may challenge of the Stempelstudio. The stitching pattern is from Chrissie and the stamp is from Whiff of Joy.

The 2 cards are made with fairly similar stamps but the atmosphere is completely different. It's good to see the differences.

WLO 8-5

On the yahoo group kaartvriendinnen we had a week sketch and this is the card I made with it. The stamp is from the greeting farm.

Ann's PaperArt Challenge

The beautiful pattern of this butterfly is from Ann's PaperArt. The card is for the Blog Challenge. So if you are interested in this free stitching pattern, visit Ann's PaperArt blog.

During my week off last week I had time to do some stitching again. Here a couple of the cards. The first two are patterns from Ann's PaperArt, the last card is made with a pattern from Chrissie

Two of my colleagues are celebrating their birthday next week. So high time to make a small gift for both of them. The card is made for 2 challenges, the layout is from sketch saturday 147 and the stamp is a Henry stamp from Whiff of Joy.

To give with the card I made a mug using the scor-pal. It's filled with chocalates which I know my colleague likes.

For my other colleague, who is a tea drinker, I made a small envelop for two tea bags.

Our monthly crafting afternoons this year are about techniques for card making. Last time we got out an old technique, Sandy Art. These 10x10 cards are the result. The first one is with a template from Sandy Art, the second one is made with a creatable from Marianne Design and a multi frame die from Nellie Snellen.

When I saw this tutorial from Dena I was immediately enthusiastic. So this weekend I finally found the time to make the card.

The stamp is from Motivet.

Sketch Saturday #142

Since I needed a baby card, I used this very nice layout from Sketch Saturday for this. The stamp is from Whiff of Joy and the text stamp is from Stampinback.

Mojo Monday #177

When I saw the sketch from Mojo Monday I immediately thought of this stamp from stampendous. It is lovely for these kind of sketches.

DWYT #071

I just love very simple sketches, so when I saw this one from DWYT I just had to use it. The card is made with encaustic art because I think that is a technique that does not need much else if you put it on a card.
