A Light

This small box was the perfect gift to bring some light in these dark days before Christmas. The example I saw on Sylvia's blog and I immediately liked it. This one was very simple for a birthday, but I am sure another will follow.

Latern gift box

At Petra's blog I saw the beautiful latern she made, that inspired me to make one myself. The workshop is from Stempelmaleins, a very nice blog and worth visiting.

As you can see, the gift box is for someone who turns 70!

At this moment the box has a light in it, but the gift also had candy inside.

The stamps I used are:
- Lion from Magnolia
- Monkey and mouse under party head from Whiff of Joy
- 2 little mice from House mouse
- Racoon from the Bengels line

The second card is made from paper left-overs and the stamp is from Motivet.

Another Xmas card

Today I made a quick scrapcard. A christmas card because I still need some and time is starting to run out. The lovely sketch is from the Papertake Weekly Challenge #49. The stamp is a house mouse.

Anniversary

Today my crafting turned about the theme of a 40 year work anniversary. I made 2 cards, one pernonalized that I am not going to show and this general card. The sketch is from Sketch Saturday challenge 125, the stamps are from Stampinback.

Stitching time

Time for some stitching again. The tree pattern is from Ann's Paper Art. The stamps are from Penny Black. The card is for the Penny Black Saturday challenge #122

Xmas/Winter marathon

On the yahoo group Kaartvriendinnen I participated in the Xmas/Winter marathon. This means I got 5 sketches from 5 different people and had to make Christmas or Winter cards with them. These are the results of that challenge:

The stamp is a Sugar Nellie stamp

The stamp is from Lili of the Valley

The stamp is a House mouse stamp

The stamp is from Whiff of Joy

The stamp is from Stampendous

Glimmer mist

Time for some stamping again. Of course I wanted to try my new glimmer mist and a demonstration I saw on a craft show. The result is not quite how I wanted but for a first try I don't think it's that bad either.

Online workshop

Last week I participated in an online workshop and made this pocketcard. A great card for men. The used stamp is a bengel stamp.

Another SS117

Another card with the sketch from Sketch Saturday challenge #117 because I realy like the layout. The used stamp is from the animals serie from Nellie Snellen.

SS117 and PB115

Another card with the Whiff of Joy Henry stamp. The sketch is from Sketch Saturday challenge #117. The colors seem grey, but infact it's more green than grey.

Here I used the sketch from Penny Black saturday challenge #115, with of course a Penny Black stamp.

Summertime

Water and sand, summertime should be here, but unfortunately my vacation won't start till September. The cute sunny Henry from Whiff of Joy has at least brightened up my day today. The wonderful sketch if from the Friday Sketchers challenge #114.

The second card I made was to test a technique I did not use before, magic dots. It was fun to do something different for a change. The stamp is of course a very sweet house mouse.

Crafting afternoon

During our monthly crafting afternoon I made two cards, both to enter in challenges.

The first card is made with the sketch from the Lily of the Valley. I am glad I could participate now that I have my first LOTV stamps.

This second card is made with a sketch from the Friday Sketchers challenge and the stamp used is from the Penny Black especially for the Christmas in july challenge.

Get well soon

I needed a quick get well soon card for to send to a colleague, this is the result.

Magnolia challenge #64

A lovely sketch from Just Magnolia was the base of todays card. I finally got to use this cute little santa.

Create4Fun #27

A different colour as I was getting tired of the green. This card is made with the sketch from Create4Fun Challenge week 27. The stamp is from Tina Wenke.

A warm afternoon

These cards I made this week during our monthly crafting get together on one of the warm afternoons.

A small card with a lovely house mouse stamp.

A christmas card with an older sketch from saturday sketchers and the fabulous Henry stamp from Whiff of Joy.

FS #107

Today I had some time to make a quick card. The sketch is from Friday Sketchers, the stamp is from the house mouse serie.

Create4fun Challenge #24

In my box with "left-overs" I found an encaustic art background. This was a nice start to make a card with this weeks challenge of Create4Fun.

Stampprint swap

On the yahoo group where I am a member we did a swap with stampprints. I got three stampprints from other members that I had to use on a card. These 3 cards are the result of that.

This one is made with a sketch from Bev Rochester

For the second card I used a stitching pattern from Ann's Paper Art

And the third card is a scrapcard again, this time with a sketch from Our Creative Corner

Create4fun Challenge #22

Another beautiful sketch from the Create4Fun challenge blog lead to this card. I still had a piece of clay waiting to be used and thought it is nice to use on this card.

Flash freebie

The beautiful stitching pattern is from Ann's PaperArt, the idea for the card came from the magnolia challenge blog and the stamp is from Penny Black. It was fun to combine the scrap card part with the stitching.

Sketch May

For a yahoo-group I got a sketch to make a card. This sketch I used to make this card with a piece of clay. On the clay I stamped a magnolia image.

Create4fun Challenge #20

As you might have noticed I like sketches that are not too busy. Here is a lovely one from Create4Fun. The stamp used is from the greeting farm.

Whiff of Joy Challenge #78

A christmas card in silver and white. The sketch is from Whiff of Joy challenge #78 and the stamp is from the WOJ winterkit.

Penny black challenge

A free day today so some time to make a card. The sketch used is from Penny black saturday challenge #100. Lately I did not make a christmas card and I will need a few by the end of the year, so I took this oppurtunity to make one.

Friday Sketchers #101

Again a beautiful sketch (#101) from Friday Sketchers. Check it out as this week there is also a blog hop!
The card however took more time than expected. I did not find the right stamp to combine with it, but after several attempts this is the final result.

Friday Sketchers #100

These are more my colours, not too bright. The brown makes the card look elegant and I thought it was suitable to finish it as a men's card. The great sketch is from Friday sketchers challenge #100

Sketch Saturday #101

A colour I don't particularly like myself, but the cards with it are very popular so this time it's pretty in pink with a nice sketch from sketch saturday.

Saturday sketchers #100

In between the baking of some cakes I found the time to make a scrapcard. The lovely sketch is number 100 from Saturday Sketchers, the stamp used is from the happy mail collection of Whiff of Joy.

OCC sketch challenge #11

A card with the sketch from OCC Sketch Challenge #11 and a stamp from the Whiff of Joy happy mail collection.
