Crafty Friends Challenge 26

This fortnight challenge is Floral - Feature a flower.

For this challenge I started with an embossed background, then I had a stitched die cut and a super cute image from A day for daisies. Add some red card stock and 3 red stones in the shape of flowers and this is what I got.

Purple dragon

When I went trough my crafting desk I found a stitched border that I made some time ago. I decided to make a card with it.

Seeing the colors of the stitching I decided to keep the card purple. The little dragon is from Bugaboo stamps, the stitching is a Joy!Craft die from Chrissie.

Sketch #403

Sometimes things that look easy turn out to be way more difficult and time consuming. I liked the current sketch of Catch the bug, but did have a lot of problems with the card. Now this is the end result, not what I envisioned, but different. The image is from Bugaboo stamps, the die I used for the frame is a spellbinder.

For the bingo challenge on Catch the bug I wanted to make a card today after I finally finished another card I had laying around for some time now.  I chose pearls - Bugaboo image - Tag from the chart to work with. As said the image is from Bugaboo stamps and the stitching pattern is from Ann's Paper Art.

Crafty Friends Challenge 24

This fortnight challenge is Animals / Birds.

For this challenge I was fortunate to use the cute Sweet skunks digi from Pickled Potpourri. Since there are 2 images in the set I could not resist and made 2 cards, one with each. My first card is after a design from Stempeleinmaleins. The die I used is front Joy!Craft.

The second card I kept very simple, I just used a stitching pattern from Ann's Paper Art

My third card was not planned, but I just loved this digi from our other sponsor Inky Impressions. And since I want to start in time with Christmas cards this year, it was a good opportunity to combine it into a card. The die I used for this card is from Sizzix.
